	New Product PatBase is a new cost-effective patent database, published by RWS Group, Information Division, in conjunction with Minesoft Ltd. It was
	originally developed by RWS to provide our own searchers with a professional search tool, the like of which did not exist elsewhere in the public domain. Developed by Professional Searchers PatBase will be an important new tool for patent searchers and R&D specialists worldwide. The first commercial database to be designed by professional patent searchers, offering a single platform with comprehensive data, organized for efficient international searching. Cost-effective PatBase is available on a competitively priced annual subscription - not on expensive connect hours and record download/display charges . Consolidated Patent Families PatBase meets the needs of searchers by being organized into extended patent families - each unique invention represents one consolidated record. Family members - and their details - are contained in the same record, allowing simpler, more rapid searching and display of search results. Only one simple query is needed to see in which countries a patent application has published. Comprehensive Coverage PatBase covers historical information dating back to the early 1900s, with fast updating of records each week. It includes patent applications and granted patents from all patent offices with a significant volume of inventions, as well as incidental data from other patent offices. Searchable by different Classification Systems Leading patent office classification systems (IPC, USPC, and ECLA) are included in the file to assist subject and technology searching. Keyword searches help pinpoint vital information and allow for very broad searches across millions of titles and abstracts. User-friendly Interface PatBase search interfaces cater for infrequent users as well as heavy-duty patent search professionals, and link to additional patent resources such as legal status and copies of complete patents. Intranet solutions and individual remote access are available.
